Lazy Leftovers: Fried Potato Dumplings with Maple Syrup

18 Jan
  • Food: Fried Potato and Pork Dumplings
  • Ingredients: leftover krubs, butter, maple syrup
  • Prep time: 5 minutes
  • Cooking time: 10 minutes

This weekend, Jill and I cooked our first Sunday feast: krubs. Last night, it was time for leftovers!

The meal was incredibly easy to make and only took about 20 minutes. I sliced two krubs into wedges and fried them in butter. (We never said this was a diet blog!) To finish them off, I sprinkled them with some of the leftover pork (reheated in the microwave) and drizzled them in maple syrup.

They were even tastier left over!

Those sound really good! I’ve never tried drizzling maple syrup over potatoes before!

I had never thought of it either. When Jill first told me about it, I was skeptical–but it turned out fantastic! -Kelly
